Hi there,
I've just brought a Mini and I will be selling my Vectra however I was hoping to transfer my insurance with the Tesco straight over to the mini, However I'm not sure on how it stands these days with me selling the Vectra, Do I have to keep it insured while I'm waiting to sell it?

The Vectra will need to be insured if it is used/kept on a road - speak to your current insurer first - they may offer you temporary cover (mine have in the past) for a week or two.0

Thank you, It's kept on a private drive does that make a difference and she won't be used. I will speak to insurance company too.0

No; they brought in continuous insurance. The only way to avoid this would be to declare the car SORN. If you are planning on selling it shortly probably best to just get on with it whilst it still has VED (if that has run out then just SORN it)0 -
I was insured with Tescos, OH still is, Phone them, swap your new car on your policy and ask for a temp cover on your old car.. They will issue you with new certificates.. Get your old car sold asap..0
