Without the need for a screwdriver I can hear a…

I'm looking for a car to replace an ageing Mondeo and came across "Tesco Cars". Right then moneysavers - how many of you moneysave with your car & how many don't?
To explain... As this is a money saving message board, how many of you run something economical, and how many of you allow a bit of slack on this part of your life? I'm quite a tight wad, i'll admit, though i like cars. I'll grumble at spending a bit here & there in other areas of life, but i'm itching to have something…

I have winter tyres fitted at the moment, if it can't be repaired and needs to be replaced I don't know if my local (not very, 17 miles away) tyre fitter will have one…

Private car seller - proof of ownership?
Hi, I've never bought a car from a private seller before so the answer may be obvious, but I'll ask anyway. When buying a car from a private seller, how do you satisfactorily get them to prove that they're entitled to sell the car? I know the V5 matching their name and address is a good start, but it's not proof. I'm…

Hazard lights randomly coming on
Neighbour has just knocked on the door. The hazard lights on my car are randomly coming on. They came on once whilst I was out there, about 30 seconds or so after I'd locked it (double locked with the imobiliser). I've been out and it was all locked up, couldn't see any sign of somebody tampering with it, but the remote…
