Any car that has lasted that long is good for £500, but if it's true, it looks well worth it.

Excellent cars, used to have these as my company car at one time (I must make it known that I worked for Honda for 20 years).

These ones were made at Swindon (from about S to W/X reg). I guarantee you'll like it. They come with a lot of stuff as standard - that's the base spec you're looking at, the better spec was the ES/SE, but even the LS was well spec'd.

Reliable cars (there is no diesel option on these, they didn't offer a diesel until the next generation) and well worth a look, especially if it's been looked after.

Just spoke to the owner and off to see at 9.30 am tomorrow. Pretty sure that I will get it, I've had my heart set on a car with aircon and this is in budget and with it being Japanese with a good service history should do me for a few years.
I would post the link but I am paranoid that someone else will beat me to it!

That won't last long if it's anything like as good as it sounds in the listing. Sounds like it has been well looked after.

If you can get it for £400, so much the better.

It's Japanese in the sense it was made in Swindon, and is the same car as the Rover 600, so I wouldn't set your heart on that too much.
But it was a Japanese design overall.

    Check the aircon works.

    They're good cars though.

Friend has a 1995 2.0LS Aerodeck. 130.000 miles. Very nice car. It feels well made. Excellent and smooth engine. Bit thirsty.

I only do about 40 miles per week so mpg is not a huge priority. Want I want is something solidly built that has been looked after with some toys on it. I will do one or two 150+ mile journey a year. I will go in at £400.

Sounds like the ideal motor then.

Make sure you rag the t*ts off it, those Honda engines love it :D
