Bicycle Basket!
Hi. I've done a search but cannot find any recommendations for a good front bicycle basket. Does anyone out there have any advice? I've seen some cheap ones on Amazon but the reviews (if you can believe them) are mixed. It seems the really cheap ones tend to bounce around alot. I have my baby's seat on the back so had to…

It has a "Ford 6000 CD" audio, i found a photo online of what it looks like I can't seem to find the "aux in" 3.5mm jack anywhere in the car, it's not around the audio head unit and it's not in the glove compartment. I'd really like to get…

How much would a re spray cost?
I have had a small bang in my car with another. I had just filled up with Petrol at a Garage and there was a Silver car parked at the exit with it's hazard lights on so I had to drive past him to turn left and hit his front bumber. The guy said some paint has come off but didn't say if there was a dent or anything. If it…

VW Golf 2003 TDI - 2000 rpm judder
Hi - wonder if someone could help with this. Noticed on the motor way when in 4th or 5th gear as soon as the car hits 2000 rpm (almost exactly) there is a slight judder or tiny lack of power. it last for literally less than half a second and then is fine. Cant seem to notice it in gears 1-3. It kind of feels like a tiny…

Best bike carrier for saloon & hatchback?
Hi all We need a bike carrier that will fit both of our cars, one is a saloon and one is a hatchback - what's our best option? Went to Halfords yesterday but they only had a strap option and the salesman didn't seem confident it would fit both cars. Ideally, the easiest to fit and remove (as and when we need to) the…

Hi all, I'm considering getting a 2006 yaris 1.4 D4D T3 in spring 2011. I will be doing 20k+ miles a year so a diesel is the way to go and also for toyota reliability. I'm hoping it will cost £4.5k or below by then. Engine Cubic capacity: 1364 Cylinders 4 Max Power (bhp/rpm) 89/3800 Max Torque (lb ft/rpm) 151/1800 Town mpg…

All at once
One car with a dying battery One car with a cracked valve on the rear wheel One car with a small leak in rad pipes All happens at once! The rad pipe will wait- the car's not used very often. Besides it's raining, and I've no desire to get soaked. The valve and battery are just aggravating, and I'll have sorted in an hour!

Any tips on buying a car ?
I need a car, 5 doors, not too big, basically for the missus to drive around on the school run, trips to the shops and perhaps a few 20 to 30 mile drives. I am toying with the idea of a new car as I don't know much about cars in the UK but a trip to see a dealer today was a wash out. It was all too much trouble for them…
