Alphabet UK
Has anyone had any dealings with Alphabet UK, the finance arm of BMW? If yes, how did it go? Our initial invoice for our new contract-hire has gone wrong: £400+ error in their favour. I am now stuck in a constant loop of arguing with Alphabet and the dealership and any day now they're going to initiate the first direct…

Costs Incurred Due To Shoddy Work
Hi All, I had problems with my car in November 2009 and took the car to the dealership that I got it from - and have warranty with. They completed a few bits including fitting new spark plugs. Last week I had problems driving the car, and it felt like all power was disappearing. As it is a Mazda, and I was down the road…

The prices on mytyres.co.uk look pretty good but I have a problem that I hope some of you may be able to help with. My…

Petrol or Diesel?
Am thinking of changing my car in the next 12mths. I've always had a small corsa/fiesta size car, and it's always been petrol (the only time I've ever driven a diesel was about 20 odd years ago, with no power steering, and sounding like a tank lol) I know they've come a long way since then, but am unsure of the advantages…

Waving at drivers who have the same car as you?!
Hi Just wondered if other car drivers wave at you if you have the same car and pass them in the road? Obviously you wouldn't if you had a popular car like a Focus or Audi A3 (far to many about to wave at everyone!!) When I pass other people who have the same car they often wave! Happened to me this morning on the way to…

Petrol Prices Going Up Again!!
I have just read petrol prices are going up again. These companies have us by the nads.....isn't there anything we can do to drive down their prices??? windscreen interior misting up
what is the proper way to clear this up? In the past a bit of air would do it but lately it seems to be misting up a lot and the only way to clear it is to put the fan 'intensity' to full at the lowest temp and put the a/c on - which leads to the interior and me getting very cold!

My son dropped off some things at a friend's house. Whilst he was inside, her five year old son gouged the side of his car with his bike. It seems it might have been deliberate, but difficult to say as he is only five. The cost of repair is likely to be towards £300. The boy's mum didn't even apologise. Her attitude was…
