Hi All

In 2009 my car was written off and i received payment un May 2009 and sent the v5 etc to the insurers and the slip to the DVLA.

Today i received a Debt Recovery Notice letter regarding the the car stating i could be fined etc as the car is untaxed.

I called Inter-Credit International Ltd and told them the above and they said that as i did not receive a letter from the DVLA within 4 weeks of me sending the slip i am liable and that this is as per the document i signed when i applied for the original v5.

Is this correct?

Any advice and help gratrefully received, thanks in advance.
