windscreen interior misting up

what is the proper way to clear this up? In the past a bit of air would do it but lately it seems to be misting up a lot and the only way to clear it is to put the fan 'intensity' to full at the lowest temp and put the a/c on - which leads to the interior and me getting very cold!

Settings on Hot....Fan on at least half speed...Vents to screen...Recirc off......Aircon on... Instant demist;)0

Do you have the heater on recirculate air, if so it is recirculating the air from the cabin so will causing misting. If you do change the setting to fresh air and it will bring air in from outside the cabin which will often clear it0

If its that bad it could be your heater element has some slight seepage causing the window to constantly mist up.0

Try cleaning the inside of the windscreen - misting up is far more liklely to occur if the windscreen is grubby."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Why would you put it on cold?.....0

All the posts of impending doom are a little premature!!!
Sounds like blocked drainage at or near the the pollen filter, basically allowing water into the air system, normally caused by leaves and rubbish (located under the bonnet and somewhere near the wipers).
Change the pollen filter (as it'll be soaked) and unblock the drainage holes.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Because one side effect using your A/C is it acts as a dehumidifier, the warm moist air condenses onto the cooling matrix (which then drains off under the car when you stop).......“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
