Can someone solve a tricky indicator problem please?
I have a motorcycle where the right indicators flash faster than the left! I though at first there was a bulb gone but that's not the case. They are normal bulbs, not LEDs. Any ideas my friends? Thank you for any replies. .

Friends and family railcard - buy in station - can I get free yha?
Hi I want to get a friends and family railcard for a trip to London this week. No point ordering it online as with the postal strike no guarantee it will arrive so I was thinking I can get it at a manned station. Anyway - online orders though get free yha membership. So, has anyone successfully bought a family railcard in…

As you drive along the M42 "westwards" towards the M5 you can see to the north, a church perched on top of a hill (more like a cliff). Does anyone know its name and or the name of the nearest village? :o

Considering an intensive driving course in Manchester
Hi, I wondered if anyone had any advice or experience of intensive driving courses? I have failed my test twice (in my late teens), and have not had any lessons for around 7 years. My instructor said she was confident I was up to test standard but on the day of my test I was really nervous and made stupid mistakes and so I…

Engine judder after service?
I had my Ford KA serviced on saturday. Since I picked it up the engine has been juddering when idling which it didn't do before. The only thing that came up on the engine check was that the tappits were worn and needed replacing or adjusting, but the engine ran smooth (although noisy) before the service. Any idea what it…

Speed humps cause road deaths
All the time I see people trying to straddle speed humps/pads/cushions. I see the sides of speed humps severely degraded with sharp edges of tarmac revealed. When drivers straddle these (as opposed to one wheel on, one wheel off), it wears away the inner wall of the tyre. At high speeds a blow out due to an eroded inner…

Selling a car
I've got one or two questions about selling a car, sorry if they sound dumb, i've never done this before. I have an 11 yr old car to sell, the dealer offered me peanuts as a PX (then persuaded me to sell it myself), so I thought I'd give it a try. 1. Where is the best place to advertise it? Autotrader, Ebay or both? 2.…

Small Cheap Secondhand Cars
So, as the phone has not yet rung to tell me they have found my car, I can only assume it is lying in pieces in a scrap yard somewhere. What that means is, when the insurance comes through in a couple of months, I will be hunting for a new car. I'm looking for second hand, costing around £3000 or less, tiny engine,…

Driving test routes
I am looking ahead about the driving test routes. I've found a website about it on here: http://www.dsa.gov.uk/AtoZservices_Bannered.asp?Cat=-1&TestType=car&TypeID=17 (click on a place, and they will tell you the exact routes). They have lots of routes. Does that mean I get to choose one, or the driving examiner chooses it?
