I am sure it is not a simple calculation as clearly the higher your salary the greater proportion you have as disposable income. That said and done though.... what proportion of your annual salary would you think is reasonable to spend on a car -v- its sale price?

Buy cash or finance?
We are going to be buying a car soon and looking to spend up to £5000. We were going to pay by cash, but we wondering whether we should buy it on finance, as hubby seems to think there might be a good reason to do this, but can't think what it is! What is your opinion? Cash or finance?

Why is one brake pad wearing faster than the other?

Expiring Endorsements
I have 2 endorsements expiring in October after four long years. Car insurance companies always ask for five years history. If I was to get car insurance with a new company in November would I need to tell them about my expired endorsements? Surely if they have expired the insurance company will never know??? :confused:…

Hi, been struggling to get hold of a book/maual.The problem is the title....cannot remember the complete title however this booklet was written by an ex-policeman with references to traffic cameras, speed,etc The title goes something like this.."Drivers safety....book or manual".
