First Direct
Basically they're very anal aren't they? Would be interested in any stories from people who've been turned down by them for dubious reasons? Also, probably a very naive question, but are they completely goverened by what the computer tells them or is it down to the individual judgment/discretion of their underwriting…

Mis-sold Endowments
Dear Money-Savers, I believe that I have been mis-sold two low cost endowment policies. One with Friends Provident was taken out through a broker, who sold the business, to another guy who had it written into the contract that he did not take on any of the overall liabilities. The original guy who mis-sold it to me has now…

What is the most a mortgage company will pay to get you off their books?
Hi all I bought a mortgage with GMAC just before the credit crunch in 2007, and since then my property has fallen into negative equity. GMAC's demise meant they sold the mortgage to Webb Resolutions.
