Getting another agreement in principal

Hi there, yesterday I recieved an agreement in principal for a mortgage for a house we are hoping to put an offer on on monday. No sooner had I done so, my wife came up with a cheaper quote from another provider. Is it worth trying to get another aip or will the extra credit check cause me problems later on. I haven't had any other checks done in the past 6 months so that would only make 2 on my credit file.
Most grateful for any advice!

You'll be fine.
You are expected to shop about a bit for a mortgage so a couple of searches are really neither here or there. Any more in quick succession start to lower your credit score.
