We've previously been turned down a mortgage from RBS and Abbey because I can't provide the last 3 full years accounts, as they've not been completed yet. Our broker has managed to hopefully get us something through Beacon. So far we've provided all the information they've asked for, and they've done the survey this…

Mortgage - does this sound right?
Putting our house up for sale with a view to trading up. Phoned our Skipton BS before Christmas as I wanted to discuss how much extra I could borrow and if they were still lending. They were a bit evasive but said I should have no problem. I've no outstanding credits/loans - only a small mortgage - and no bad debts. I've…

How qickly can a mortgage application go through? I want to apply for a mortgage with Britannia, but I want to get an answer yes or no before I spend any money on charges or fees (valuations etc).
