Can anyone tell me how HSBC work out the affordability?
I earn £48,500
Asked for £139,500 mortgage after i have paid 10% deposit.
Repayments are £909 pcm
Do you think they will say i can afford it?
I'm confident i can.

Depends your our outgoings.
Just give them a call and go through an AIP.0 -
I have done the AIP but its now with the underwriter
Outgoings are max £700pcm

Not sure as I don't know your net income or other circumstances.
Really there's no point in anyone hazarding a guess as obviously it's down to the underwriter anyway, just wait and see.0 -

If you hadn't passed the affordability at AIP stage you wouldn't have gone to application.
I can understand why you'd ask, but there is absolutely no point anyone speculating on whether they will agree the application or not0
