BTL mortgage - Base + 0.49% for life?
All, I overheard a conversation recently about some bank doing a BTL mortgage for Base Rate + 0.49% for the life of the term, and I didn't hear which bank the two people were talking about - I didn't know either of them so didn't want to intrude. Does anyone here know which bank it is? Thanks and regards. P

Can I live in my own BTL?
I currently own 2 houses: 1 BTL and 1 with a residential mortgage. Since I'm having difficulty to rent out the BTL but could easily find a tenant for the other, does anything speak against just swapping house and not remortgaging both of them? So I would live in my BTL and rent out my other house? Both are roughly of same…

Loan to get a 95% mortgage?
Hi, First time buyer here....we've found a house, and various mortgages. That way the loan amount will be paid off sooner, and obviously the mortgage amount will be lower…
