Oops thanked you by mistake there - oh well never hurts to get thanked!! Was just going to say I don't think all the mortgage experts on here would be able to tell you what the best type of mortgage is without some info on your circumstances as the best type of mortgage varies a lot depending on your personal needs. If you post whether its a FTB or remortgage and what your general needs are (amount of mortgage, length of term etc) I'm sure the experts on here could help.

Indeed - there is no one size fits all best mortgage that covers everybody. It all depends on your own situation as to what would be best for you. WHat are you looking to do i.e. what is the purchase price you are looking for, deposit etc

Then we can start to see if there is anything available

    Hi herbie,
Yeah I'm no expert but I do know that there is no universal right mortgage and it all depends on the individual circumstances as to what is best. Was wondering if you could have a look at my thread asking for remortgage help as I have posted the necessary info and would appreciate any general advice.
