Sim only?
I've been given a 5s iphone that was on contract to 02 and told that I just need a SIM. That's as much as I know about mobiles as I only have a old phone (not a smartphone). Do I need to get this iphone unlocked? Next question, what SIM to cover all the data the phone will need for updates? It will be used the odd time for…

3rd Party Company - Not holding up their end of the bargain?
I found a great deal on Mobilephonesdirect for the phone I wanted with Talkmobile as the network provider. The bill was high but the site advertised that it would give £192 cashback which would be funded over the months to reduce the bill. I thought great! I took out this deal, I am now signed to TalkMobile but it has been…

She wants a contract as can't afford a new phone out right. She doesn't want to pay above £15 a month but still wants a decent phone.…

Shocking bill from EE
Hi, Have just logged in to my business account to find I have been charged £233 instead of the usual £15.99 this month. The reason for this is that I have used 400 minutes over my monthly allowance. Two months ago I upgraded the account from a pre-pay service to a pay monthly. With pre-pay I always received several…

How do I cancel a monthly subscription in Google Play - In-App Purchase?
On an App on my Android mobile. I am looking to do my first in-app purchase for a monthly subscription. I just want to give it a try for a month and then cancel. I assume I can just log into my Google Play Store account and cancel any subscriptions for in-app purchases rather than having to do it in the app itself?

Contract (not)expired
Hello, A cousin of mine signed a contract with Tesco Mobile a couple of years ago for 12 months. He's then left the country, before the 12 months have even passed, for a few years and is now back. During his time away he's used no data, no minutes, texts, nothing. The sim has been 'dead' for years. However, Tesco have been…

Hi Having (finally) decided to maybe take the plunge and get shut of my landline, which I've kept out of inertia to do anything about it (!) Vodaphone scandal!
Hello, I recently signed up to Vodaphone unfortunately and in the first month I went to America. I had two phones at this point so ensured that all my data was turned off on my Vodaphone contract. I did use wifi on the phone but that was it. The only reason I bought the phone with me was for the camera quality. Anyhow, I…

To see how I would get on with a smart phone without spending much, I bought this:- http://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/news/2015/07/ee-rook-49-4g-smartphone-revealed/ it was OK, but didn't use it much because of the small amount of data (100mb) in my sim only allowance. However, as I am in the process of having a new sim only…

EE can't / won't unlock iPhone 5S
Hi all, I'll try and keep this concise but it's turned into a bit of a tale! So... my daughter is currently in her year abroad in the States and when she went over there in September 2015, she had an old iPhone in which she used her US sim card (the service is called Campus Sim - it's an American network designed for…
