I have just googled RPI and unless I am mistaken on Feb 17th it fell to 1.1% from 1.6% in Jan.
If this is the case a rise off 1.3% would be off material detriment and allow customers to leave penalty free.0 -
It can't have been 1.6% this January. It's been hovering just below 1% for a while.
My increase should be 11p. That's actually an increase of 37% on what I actually pay. Annoying, but will still only cost me 41p a month which won't increase for at least another 12 months from March.0 -
Will be interesting to see the increase to customers' of Virgin Mobile (from July) and Three UK (from May) based on today's announcements. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

It is on the ONS website as 1.3%:

Interesting that bills are allowed to be raised in line with a statistic that doesn't meet international standards. The rise would be almost halved were that not the case.
Glad I left mobile contracts behind before these annual hikes started.0 -

Despite the plethora of problems Vodafone UK present I will commend them for not increasing airtime contracts mid-term using RPI (the same goes for Tesco Mobile). It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Talkmobile doesn't appear to either now.0

I rang EE a couple of days ago asking how much it would cost to leave. I told them I was finding my bill too expensive and asked to drop my minutes and texts which they wouldn't do but instead offered me a £5/month discount. A good way to combat any price hikes!Save £12k in 2017 / Dec 2017 Travel Cash = £12,400 / £14,000 88.5%[/COLOR]
House Deposit = £20,500 / £18,000:money:0 -
MrsM's sim only has not increased since Nov 2013 and that was delayed by 6 months due to it being a new contract.0
-
I had the text yesterday alerting to the price rise but also saying that it doesn't apply to the plan I'm on so they'll be adding a discount each month to cancel it out!0
-
I received the txt today saying my bills will be increased 1.3% in line with inflation As per my t&c which I don't recall and I am going to investigate !
Is there any possibility of getting out of the contract due to this increase ?
Since Orange was taken iver by ee my bills have tripled !0
