Vodafone have taken payment - have not topped up phone
Hi Everyone! I was wondering if you could advise. Last week (08/01) I made a payment of £20 credit onto my girlfriend's phone and the payment cleared from my bank on 09/01. She still hasn't received the credit and has been told at her local Nottingham branch that I need to speak to someone in Spain about it . Okay, the…

Which pay as you go is the best?
Could not find any of this info online. I am currently looking for a pay as you go deal. Most of companies would offer a so called smart pack, bolt on etc where for say £10 per month you get set number of data and minutes. Could any one advice which company would offer the most for a tenner? Many thanks.

Carphone Warehouse Staff practises

My wife was deeply skeptical about receiving a…

What happens if DATA allowance is exceeded?
Hi All, I'm moving from an 'unlimited' data 3G package SIM only deal with Virgin to a 4GB limit on data with Three. It turns out my 'unlimited' was actually limited to 3.5GB anyway.. but all it did if I went over was go very slowly.. I'm worried that if I move to this Three package and I go over the 4GB they'll start…

O2 - leaving country so don't want upgrade - how to negotiate a better monthly rate?
Apologies if this has been covered already on this board. I signed up with O2 (via CarPhone Warehouse) for an iPhone 5 on a 24 month contract back in January 2013 on a monthly rate of £38.15. That comes to an end today (or tomorrow) and I've had continual phone calls from an O2 rep trying to get me to upgrade. The problem…

Three Network Contract changes Jan 2015
I received a text from THREE network this morning telling me about a change to the way that I could pay for purchases from Google Play, I can now pay through my phone plan. This would be great if I was only responsible for my phone contract and my purchases but I have six phones and all but 1 of them belong to my children.…

Vodafone alternatives
Hi all I have a new phone locked to Vodafone. I want to try it out and decide whether to keep it without giving much more money to VF, or unlocking. Sainsburys mobile looks the best option, I see also talkmobile though the horror stories about them on here are a bit off-putting. Lebara seems expensive and talktalk is not…

Leaving T-Mobile the right way
I have read numerous threads across the internet about people being charged a fee by T-Mobile the moment they request a PAC before the end of a contract even if the PAC isn't used until after the contract end date. My contract ends 10/02/15 and from what I've read elsewhere the best course of action is to give 30 days…

Claiming compensation: Vodafone move the goalposts
The local Vodafone mast was out of action from March until early December last year. I reported it to Vodafone in October - told me when I reported it that I would be entitled to compensation - but that it would only be paid once the issue was fixed. When I last checked with them (they assured me that I would receive a…

Anyone got an LG G3? (Formerly: What top end Android phone to choose?)
So, the LG G3 is looking more and more tempting.. anyone got one and can comment on it? Battery life ok? Nice and fast? Camera ok? Cheers! My Samsung Galaxy S3 is on its last legs. It has cyanogenMod installed, a 6 month old Anker battery and it is still sluggish, the camera crashes all the time, and the thing runs out of…

Brand new phone with wrong charger in box
I received a "brand new" Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Saturday, from affordable mobiles. The box appeared to be brand new/unopened and it had the stickers on that you have to break in order to open the box, etc... inside everything appeared brand new in cellophane. The first odd thing I noticed was that there was no "quick…
