Orange/EE Have to Return New Phone as no Sim?
Hi All
Just wondering if anyone has had same issue as me. I upgraded my monthly orange contract IPhone 4 to a EE Samsung Ace a couple of weeks ago. New phone came but i didnt recieve a new sim so i went online and it said to use my old sim as they upgrade it once in new phone. So i popped my old sim in and everything has been fine. Recieved a text today to tell me to insert my new sim as my old sim is being disconnected. I rang to query and after being on hold for ages was told i had to return my new phone, when asked why the guy said he didnt know. When i asked what would happen once they got the phone back again he said didnt know and to ring a few days later to find out. Extremely unhappy is an understatment especially if they disconnect my old sim which i have put back into my iphone before its sorted.

It is because they link the sim with the phones IMEI when you place an order.
I had the same thing with Tesco Mobile when the phone had no sim, had to return the whole phone, so they could send out another one with a sim. I even offer to go to a tesco s tore and have them sort a new sim, but they stated that would not work0
