Phone stolen - blocking number (Three)

On Friday my iPhone 5 got pick pocketed on the way home :(

Unfortunately I had disabled Find My iPhone when I had to send it in for repair recently and obviously forgot to turn it back on as I tried as soon as I got home but it wasn't linked up to my account.

Anyway I need to contact Three to get the SIM blocked, which I can't do until tomorrow morning at work as I don't have a landline any more!

But I went into my local Three store on Saturday and the guy claimed my SIM wasn't registered yet I have a My Three account? (Sadly I can't seem to get into that either!). It is the SIM that you can order online free then I add the £15 deal on to it every month - So not a contract SIM and no money on it to cause any damage really.

If they manage to block it how do I go about getting a new SIM and retaining my existing number?

If you cannot answer the security questions to get into your account you may struggle to get it blocked.

If thats the case you may have lost the number.

It'll cost a little bit of money, but if you're still up you can call using skype to notify them. Although not sure why a public phone/friend couldn't be used to call over the weekend??

I can't believe you are saying this. Is your sim-card pin-protected?

Most commonly mobiles get stolen by criminal gangs to generate profit by calling to fraudulent premium numbers.
