O2 don't understand this (it is one of their phones). I'm on PAYG - which should make any difference according to the ad. Has anyone with an…

My son decided he needed a new mobile and, while I was in hospital, went on my computer to try and sort one. After hitting problems getting one under his name, he tried to do under mine. He told me about as soon as I came home and was soon the owner of a nice new Samsung mobile. However, then he lost it and couldn't see…

WARNING - for Orange customers
2 different "mistakes" have appeared in my bill and my wife's bill in the last few months. Both just happen to create additional revenues for Orange, so i'd like to hear if anyone else has noticed these anomalies or is it just a coincidence it happened to the two of us. Firstly, my bill. Can anyone spot the cunning plan…

Phone broken after 4 months - what can I do??
Hi, I purchased a Galaxy S3 mini on a two year contract with vodafone about 4 months ago. Recently one of the buttons has jammed. It is jammed down and means that I can't get back to my home screen after I open an app and it also means my screen is constantly on so it drains the battery really fast. I contacted vodafone…

Contract with o2 ending, Shall I move to another provider?
My 24 month £17p/m contract with o2 runs out in a months time. I currently get 50mins, 250 texts and 500MB data. I had a look at their upgrades on offer through their website and most of their phone upgrades needed a large upfront fee for the phone and a larger than I wanted monthly cost. All of the phones that didn't…

can all 4th gen ipads (large) handle EE 4G
I just needed mobile broadband for my iPad. Spoke to EE and they encouraged me to get 4G connection rather than 3G. Warning-PORT your # from ORANGE;lose your Online access to your account, immediately
I have/had a Monthly Orange Mobile phone account for 2 years. As I don't use my phone much, except when I am on holiday, I decided to move to GiffGaff as this was much more flexible for my occasional greater use. Although I had trouble contacting Orange Customer Service (seems even worse since they became EE), I managed to…

Iphone 4s faulty
I have a Iphone 4s which is out of the Apple warranty by 60 days but has developed what I now know to be a common hardware issue (WIFI & Bluetooth are permanently greyed out and can not be used). Apple are unwilling to do anything should Vodafone repair the phone as I would not expect a £400 phone to go wrong after just 1…

Contract newbie
I make extremely low use of my mobile phone, such that I've just used PAYG phones. However, I want to move to an Android phone for various reasons, including that I'm creating my own Android apps (not for sale), and only having a tablet for testing is a bit boring. If I had an Android phone, I'd definitely want to use…

How T-Mobile's offshore CS deals with calls
Background: I closed my account with T-Mobile 3 months ago. My credit file with CallCredit is reporting that the account is 'dormant / inactive', rather than 'settled/closed'. Attempting to explain this to a customer service representative (Mikey Operator #645) met with an operator whose English language skills were…

How to set out letter to terminate mobile phone contract?
Hi, I wish (if possible!) to terminate my T-Mobile contract without penalty. For the last few weeks I have had very poor signal where I live, much of the time there is no signal at all. I know that poor signal is not a valid reason, but I would like to complain on the grounds of 'Sustained loss of signal'. Basically, there…

Confused about 3g!
Hi All. When on the phone to Three, I asked if their sim card could be used with a non-3g phone to only make calls and text and not use the Internet, but they said that even for just calls and texts, the phone still has to be a 3g phone. Now what I am confused about is that why is EE (which is on 3g) working fine on a 2g…
