Virgin Mobile Contract termination

Hi.
Contacted Virgin today to tell them I wanted to terminate my contract early due to their increased charges in line with their own clause on this (Clause 10). Got this back from them:
"I understand your frustration in this matter, however I'd like to explain further that our price increase comply with current legislation and is also within Offcom rules.
This change is already effective as from yesterday, 22nd July 2013, for all our customers without exception.
Unfortunately a manager's unable to change this as it's a company decision that's been made."
They've also said I can end early as long as I pay them the monthly amount for remaining 12 months. I've just responded, sending them their own contract. Am I within my rights to just end the direct debit or is there a better way of resolving this?
Thanks in advance for anyone able to advise.

As far as I'm aware the 2.9% increase is within the limit for increase of RPI so without paying the rest of the minimum contract you will be stuck with the increaseIt's not just about the money0 -
Thanks.
looks like i am indeed stuck, but don't know why they bother sending out a letter stating that you can end your contract early, when by doing so you have to pay them the remaining monthly payments anway.0
