can all 4th gen ipads (large) handle EE 4G

I just needed mobile broadband for my iPad. Spoke to EE and they encouraged me to get 4G connection rather than 3G.
I was wondering is a 4th gen iPad (with the lightening port) definitely compatible with EE's 4G
I have the latter version of iPad 4th gen (there are two different ones with different hardware configurations).
