Using a mobile abroad.....Africa...
I'm off to Tanzania. I need to have a UK phone with me while there. It's more a matter of being able to receive texts and, ideally, access my emails. What's the cheapest way of doing it? I had planned on buying a local SIM card once I get there but that would involve unlocking my phone before I go (I think) and I'd rather…

Help with cancelling Three contract because of poor reception.
Hello, I'm 2 months into a 12 month SIM only contract with Three and I'm really getting fed up now. The reception in my home or pretty much ANY other building is almost non-existent. If I do manage to get signal in my home, it's only ever one bar, and as soon as I pick up my phone it loses it again. This makes sending…

I've just cut my mobile phone contract to a basic Simplicity tariff which is £10.50 per month for 300 mins and unlimited texts. I'm waiting for the paperwork so haven't yet seen the small print. Does anyone know if texts to and from abroad are included in this? Foolishly I forgot to ask when I transferred across. Thanks

Overcharging by orange
Recently I thought I had been overcharged by Orange as a result of them attributing the same text message to my mobile account multiple times - causing me to breach my text limit and get charged for taxts later on in the charging period. Initially this can be difficult to see, but if your bill is much higher than usual or…

OK, So whats the problem with this handset?
I'm looking for a handset which will work for me. I had wanted an HTC but the battery issue is enough of a bad point, then the bad customer service reports finally killed it for me. Samsung I didn't like the feel of, the screens felt too harsh and flickery with the exception of the S3 which is just not even a consideration…
