We have been with Business phones direct for approx 5 yrs for our company mobile contract. IN March 2011 we renewed a 2yr contract with 3, with the promise of handset upgrade after 12 months. In June this year, we contacted BPD to try to get an upgrade on our contract with 3, as we were eligible after 12 months. Our…

Will they charge me for one? And how would I go about getting…

Farewell Orange & T-Mobile, hello to EE
Upon logging into my orange account this morning, I was met by a lovely message that read that orange and T-Mobile will be merging together to make a new fabulous 4G network called 'EE'. Also in addition to this, all T-Mobile and Orange stores will be re-branded into 'EE' stores. Thoughts?

WARNING! Carphone Warehouse
My wife has had a particularly bad experience with Carphone Warehouse, so thought I would share. Last month she tried to apply for credit to help pay for a new car, but was refused. She's had a few of those lately. Having never had a problem before, we investigated her credit report. Out of 30 or so financial…

What happens when contract expires?
This is probably a really stupid question but what happens when a 12 month contract runs out. I've been with O2 for about 15 years, they were genie mobile I think for the first 5 years or so. I've only moved contracts twice from what I can remember. I've been on O2 iPhone simplicity for about 2 maybe 3 years and get their…

Orange U24 - Ageist?
Hi All, I'm after your thoughts. I have recently become embroiled in a bit of a twitter row with Orange because I believe their new 'U24' promotion to be ageist. The details of the promotion can be found here They tell me that it's "like a student discount only you don't have to be a student" & "similar to the Young…

"Unlimited" Mobile Internet
Hi, I've got a mobile phone contract with 3. The contract is from 2 years ago. It's 300 minutes, unlimited text and unlimited internet for 15 pounds. I got this contract from Carphone Warehouse. Everything has been OK in the last 2 years, until this month. It looks like 3 charged me 30 pounds for an extra usage of 17MB…

Am I missing something obvious
Just a quick question really? I've been a loyal customer for nearly 12 years with O2 and looking to upgrade my phone. I've got to pay £299 for the phone I'm after (bit of a gadget freak to be honest) and subscribe to a 24 month contract. So why does it seem cheaper for me to end my contract with O2 and move to Vodafone and…

Is this a good deal?
I have my heart set on an iPhone 4 or 4s. I have seen a deal where you pay £100 for the phone and then it is £21.50 a month for 24 months. This gets you 100 mins, 500 texts and 500mb data. I have never had a smartphone before but to me this looks really good. I'm not a great talker so it is really the texts and data I'm…

A quick question about microsims and normal sims(mini sims). I have seen loads of info about how to sims into microsims by cutting them but what about using them the other way round? Will microsims work in phones with old fashioned sim slots? and do so with no modifications?
