Hi, Sorry if this is a repetative question. Hoping someone can tell me if I cancel my contract phone will it affect my credit rating? I know I have to pay a concellation fee which im aware of and I dont mind that so much but I really need to know if it will affect my credit rating ie early termination default or anything?…

HTC Wildfire & Tiscali
I have recently purchased a HTC Wildfire from Tescos. Although I can receive emails I cannot reply or send them. I have visited the Tesco phone shops twice and the tec boys have no idea what the problem is. They said to contact Tesco customer service. This I did, their Tec boy said Tesco mobile do not support email - so…

Advice on getting a better phone
Hi there, I'm new to the forums but already love this website. Basically, I'm absolutely sick of my Blackberry Curve 8520. I bought it only about 3 months ago off mobiles.co.uk, lured in by the £140 "instant" cashback (which actually took several weeks). I am on the Orange Dolphin 25 contract, which means my contract is 24…

is there an easy way to swap/trade handsets ?
that isn't done through the small ads ? i've got a new blackberry curve 8520 that's unlocked and i'd ideally like to swap it for an earlier iphone model - something like the 8gb iphone or iphone 3gs. I know you can't really offer trades on ebay, but it's not something i've really considered doing online before.

3 or Vodafone?
What network is better? I live in Belfast, NI and in the past 3 weeks Three's signal's become awful. I mean when it connects to 3G its great, but increasingly it's flatlining to no signal at all. I use an iPhone 4 btw and my mum uses a Nokia and its happening to us both. I am considering moving to Vodafone as they appear…

PAYG and SIM-free
Hi I'm looking to move from my (rubbish) T-mobile contract to Simplicity on O2 and get a Blackberry to replace my HTC Hero - which has given up the ghost following the software update earlier this year. I think I have decided on the Blackberry Curve 3G which is £240 from Carphone Warehouse but I just noticed that the PAYG…

Huge £230 Contract Bill, What Can Be Done About It?
Hi all, just got a question about mobile phone contracts, my girlfriend's got a 600 min + unlimited texts contract with Vodafone, she's just got her October bill through and there's a whopping £230 extra to pay! Unfortunately checking the Vodafone website it seems this may not be a mistake, a quick sum works it out to be…

Blackberry upgrade or not ?
Do you think it's worth upgrading from the Blackberry Curve to the Blackberry Bold 9700 or 9780 ? On Orange PAYG, the price difference is £ 300 but from what I can see, all you get with a Bold is a faster, more powerful piece of kit but with basically the same features. I am sure I can live without 3G if it costs an extra…

Vodafone Customer Retention
So - I am a customer of Vodafone. My mobile has died, my (sim only) contract is up and therefore I decided to get a new Nokia N8 on a contract. I shopped around and VF were charging well over the odds - in shops, online or by phone, the best I could get was £30 per month and that was talking to their customer retention…

Cheapest HTC Wildfire payand go
Hi, after having no luck finding a used iphone at an affordable price, I've persuaded my daughter that the HTC phones are better than iphones anyway so she's liking the Wildfire. The cheapest i can find it for is at Tesco mobile for £160. My daughter has an o2 contract so I'm figuring her sim will work fine..? I've got £10…

Quick newbie T-Mobile EU data roaming question
Unexpectedly going to Germany this afternoon, will be there for a few days. Have an HTC Desire on T-Mobile pay monthly. It seems from the T-Mobile site that I won't get any data - but on arrival they will text me and suggest I sign up to a "Eurobooster" for internet. Is this correct? Or is it that even if I don't sign up I…

Limit extra charges on contract phone
My kids are currently on £15 a month contracts with 3 and the contracts are limited so that once they have used up their 'free' minutes and texts, they cannot run up extras until their next monthly allowance takes effect. Are there other providers that do this? I don't want to use PAYG because they are poor value compared…
