orange is very odd

i got new orange contract earlier in week, and wanted another for my partner.

so went for same deal on same fone but with different company

today the company said contarct had been rejected by network provider.

why is this?

is it because they were close together or what

We can speculate - but Orange will know, if indeed it was they who rejected you and not the company who didn't want to do the deal for some other reason.

    Why not ask both?

    Could be anything.

Your prior history, your address history is not right, Your address was mis spelt in either the application or the Electrol roll so the don't match up.

However most likely if you applied in your name it could be the timing, and also most mobile co's only allow two contracts in one name, any more and you'll need to pass more checks.

2 acc in less than a week may have tripped something in the anti fraud system. If you call them they can process the order manually. But that means you'll have to go to them direct ?

update. i contacted orange direct, they did reject it as i did not meet there criteria or something.

so i said i just took a contract with you few days ago, they looked and found it and so.

oh i dont know what happened then, so they tried over the phone with the same details and it came back as passed.

but they couldnt do the same deal.

so i said no thanks. ill go to another network.

the fone was a htc wildfire for £15 a month.

i called t-mobile and they offered me unlimited txt, 300 xnet mins. 500mb data and a desire black for £19 a month.

and they did contract on fone in about 5 mins, but delivery is going to be 5 days rather then oranges next day. which they said would be monday

    mmmmmmm
