Hi there, My husband has taken out a contract with 3 as it was the cheapest going. The phone works fine but there is no signal in our house or his work. (Both locations have poor signal generally, although O2, who he was with before has signal at our home address) As he signed up to the contract from home he has a 14 day…

Mobiles.CO.UK - Started Good and then turned bad...
Hello - I got a Nokia 6700 classic on a 250 minute unlimited texts package on a great cashback deal and ported my old number to my new phone. I had read one or two negative posts but I also read some positive ones. As it is now owned by Carphone warehouse I thought how bad can it be? As the title says it started well. I…

First Time Battery Charge Tip
I found a tip on battery charging whilst browsing the Internet that I wanted to share... The lifetime of the lithium ion batteries can be found in mobile phones, PDAs, UMPCs and notebook computers isn't endless. However, you can make it longer. The ugly truth Batteries are chemical labs and even if you use them in perfect…

Printing O2 bills - no PDF avail! Claiming cashback
Why dont O2 provide the facility to download a copy of your bill as a PDF? All you can print out is some sort of mess that looks like your bill but doesnt provide all the information. Has anyone successfully printed this out and managed to claim cashback using this rubbish?

Lost cause with Orange
Hi folks, I'm currently trying to persuade Orange to cut me a deal on an iphone and revised contract, having picked up an HTC Hero on their Racoon 40 contract over 2 years 6 months ago it became apparent that not only is the phone significantly underpowered for what it's trying to do, but the contract doesn't cover enough…

Problems transferring my number from 3 to 3!?!
I wandered into a 3 shop yesterday attacted by a deal for 900 minutes with a Nokia 6700 for £18 pm. I hadn't realised that I was out of contract with my current phone, as it was a 6 month one rather than 18 months apparantly. It was only when I asked about switching my old number that I discovered that this will not be…

Cheap 0800 to mobile redirect?
I currently have an 0800 number which redirects through to my mobile. They unfortunately cannot provide the 1000 free minutes per month they've given me for the last 13 months, so I'm now going to be charged 14p + VAT per incoming minute UNLESS I get the 0800 directed to a landline, then it will be free. Mobile internet plans
Hello, I'm currently on PAYG. I don't spend a great deal on text or phone calls, certainly not enough for even a £10 a month contract. I'd like to use the internet more though. It's £1 a day for me at the moment and T-Mobile offer 6 months internet usage for £20, with a 1GB limit a month. This isn't bad but I thought I'd…
