Mobile Contract Question
Hi there
i have a mobile contract / phone problem.
On the 19th Feb i took out an o2 24month contract. i also wanted to keep my existing number which i had already a puk code and gave at time of taking the contract. I was advised it would take up to 48 hours for the change to take place.
Now the port was successful i have the number i want however i cannot make calls or recieve texts but i can make calls and send texts.
I have been on the phone several times and into the shop where they have gave a new sim card or master reset of the handset. I phoned twice yesterday as you always need to leave the handset off or take the sim out and back in. oh i should have said fed up i asked for a new number just a random number - but advised this would not be advisable and to call back today!!
I am sick of it. Can i cancel my contract? and will it affect my credit rating if i do.
How should i proceed??

You don't have grounds to end the contract, sorry.
It sounds like a network server error (I seen this happen with number ports before), O2 CS needs to get the network support team to look at your profile on the server and fix it.0
