How do you get a man to open up??
I have been with my partner for 2 1/2 years now, and in many ways, he is a wonderful partner. We without a doubt love each other deeply, but our relationship is blagued with frustrations. Without going into detail and boring everyone, the main problem is not so much the actual frustrations (although of course they weight…

Car boot sale vs. ebay
Hi all We have an awful lot of clothes between us and my husband usually puts the ones we don't want anymore on ebay. However, he's not got round to photographing and listing them for about a year, so the pile of stuff keeps growing. Personally, I'd like to do a car boot, but never having been to one I remember well, I…

Defiant child and pansy teacher.
Sorry no offence to teachers but I have a real problem with one of my daughters teachers. Im not sure if some of you may remember but a while ago I had a SS visit after I was seen dragging my daughter to school, she's utterly defiant about doing anything and quite violent at times. It was the school receptionist that…

Bought tickets but don't want to spoil her!!
Okay here it goes. I know my daughter loves going to concerts and she works really hard at school, and I'd like to reward her for all her hard work. She is 15. So over the last couple of months I've been talking (discreetly) about what concerts she'd love to go to etc. I then went and bought 2 (gold) tickets for the…

wedding invite, sort of.
what do posters think of this? My OH's niece is getting married. An invite was sent to my OH's widowed sister, who does not live with us, inviting auntie Jean and auntie Helen, my OH, to the wedding. No mention of me. Is this normal now, invite the auntie but not the uncle?
