ISA question
Hi everyone, I currently have around £11k in a Nationwide Online ISA that I have paid into over the last 2 years. The ISA pays 3.1% until August, when I lose the bonus and it drops to (I believe) 1%. I understand that I can only pay into 1 ISA a year, so if I pay into the existing Online-ISA I can't then open a new ISA…

Leeds BS - Online Bonus ISA - Withdrawn
Well, that didn't hang around for long... I noticed that in Martin's list of Best Cash ISA's the Leeds 2.55% one had been removed so I went to the Leeds website and sure enough: The Online Bonus ISA is no longer available online or through any other channels. We do however have a great range of other ISAs available view…

Variable vs fixed rate - is there much in it?
Hi, I am wanting to transfer my old 2012/13 Santander variable rate ISA (3.30% inc 2.30 bonus for 12months) to a new ISA, but i'm unsure whether to opt for a fixed rate (best i've seen is about 2%) or a variable rate ISA with a bonus (I was going to go for the Leeds Bonus ISA, but it's now been withdrawn!) Now, I'm not…

ISA transfer
Sorry couldn't find the answer to this. My husband has a 2012/13 ISA at £3500 and at the 13th hour hubby opened an ISA in my name (his money) for £3600. He would like to transfer his money into a new 2013/14 ISA but also transfer some of 'mine' to bring it up to the full allowance. Are you allowed to transfer my ISA into…

If the ISA pays interest annually, but you withdraw everything after a few months...
.. do you still get the interest up until the day you make the withdrawal? Sorry if that's a really stupid question but I genuinely have no clue! It's the Leed BS, 2.55% one I'm looking at going with... Thank you!

ISA Help - Confused
Evening all I am a bit confused with ISAs and seek your help. I was made redundant 18 month ago and decided to put aside some of my redundancy into ISAs. I opened one in my own name and one in my wife's (both in Dec 11) and deposited the maximum amount in each (£5340). Both are with Virgin Money, mine is in a 3 year fixed…

Opened Leeds Building Society ISA - Problems.
After reading on here how simple it was to open an account, I went to do this tonight. However, it has asked me to send off certain documents to prove my identity (it says every new customer has to do this). I have read the things that they request to send off and this is just far to much hassle and sounds very complicated…

Top up or open new ISA & Nationwide Online Issue 7 rates
I opened a Nationwide Online ISA Issue 7 in November last year. My existing Nationwide ISA came to the end of it's introductory bonus rate at a really busy time and unfortunately the best I could do was internally transfer it to the highest paying rate Nationwide had at the time. Stupidly in my hast at the time I didn't…

Where's my interest?
After watching the money saving expert on Friday night and following the advice of getting your savings into an isa before the end of the tax year, I am yet to see any interest. I went with my bank which doesn't offer as higher interest rate as others and I want to transfer for the new tax year. Was it just pointless…

ISA does the money have to be in all year?
I was a little confused the other night as Martin Lewis was saying get your money in an ISA quick before midnight. But doesn't the money have to be in all year to get the interest? Also Halifax have just made my ISA 0.25% for my saver online. So if anyone has any recommendations for the best rate for this type of account I…
