Hi.
I want to open an online isa so I starting filling out the Santander application, but at the end there was no mention on how to pay in.
I want to transfer money from my Barclays current account into the isa. Is this possible of will I have to send a cheque to my account via the post?
Thanks

If you have your sort code and account number, you can make an online payment or Standing Order from you current account. I am sure they would also take a cheque if you insist.

I was a bit stumped by this last night, but basically this form just sets up the Santander account, they will then email you with the sort code and acc number, and then you can transfer into it from your Barclays account. It's a bit confusing!0

Interesting...at the end of the application form for the Santander Major 2 year fixed ISA it asked if I would be paying in new money or not and the only option for paying money in I could select was by cheque which I found a bit odd. I later got an email explaning the various ways of paying in so I'll be doing a bank transfer even though I told them I'd deposit via cheque...but silly really!0
