New Instant Access Year - Immediately funded ?

I'm looking to open a new Cash ISA for this years allowance (2013/14).
I'm looking for the best rate and for instant access this seems to be Coventry BS (2.6%) or Santander (2.5%).
Does anyone know if either of these can be applied for online and instantly funded ? - Either by debit card or bank transfer ?
Thanks in advance

Dont know about Santander.
With the coventry one you have to fill in a paper application form and send it to them in the post. The online application is just an application for the form.0 -
Thanks for the quick reply!
Hopefully someone else will know about Santander.
They seem to be the best at the moment, even though the rates are very poor.0 -
I helped someone open a Santander (2.5%) ISA earlier today. Quick 5 min form online. They were funding it from their Santander current account - they were asked for an amount and their Santander debit card number.0

Thank you - You don't happen to remember whether it gave an option to funds from another debit card ?0 -

No sorry I can't. Not ideal but in theory you could fill out the first stage of the form online in order to look at the second stage (which gives you the payment options) and then if your not happy you can just quit the application before the final stage which is reviewing and submitting it.0 -
You get sent an account number straight away via email which you can just do a bank transfer to. At least that's what I did.As of 23/05/14

Original MF date June 2045 now March 2044
Savings - £5,010 - target £8,000 by Dec 20140 -
I just helped my cousin open a new Coventry Poppy ISA online. Okay she had one with them from a few years ago which was classed as inactive and a savings account with them. We opened the account immediately as they already had her NI details etc and within 2 hours the ISA account appeared and we moved money over to her new ISA."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Leeds Building Society at 2.55% is easy access too. You can apply online and transfer old isas into it."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
