ISA 2.55% Leeds building Society
Hi All, Not seen this one mentioned anywhere yet...seems to be the best rate I can find. 2.55% Cash ISA with Leeds Building Society. http://www.leedsbuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/online-bonus-isa.html Seems to be paying 2.55% and allows transfers in - if I am right. Can anyone else find a better rate, before I open this…

Another Transfer Question Sorry.
If I were to transfer to another provider now to get a decent rate and later this year a new better rate comes to light, can I do another transfer this tax year to another provider? I would therefore still only have one ISA in a tax year. (No penalties from new provider for withdrawals, I've checked)

Bonuses
Everyone always talks about changing ISA's when bonuses end in order to get the best deal, but what if you want to change your instant access ISA to a better (fixed rate) USA before the bonus term ends? I am with Halifax, and have an old and new Isa amalgated in an online saver (easy access cash USA). The rate is 2.75%, of…

ISA Transfer for non UK resident
I opened an ISA with first direct many years back when I lived and worked in the UK as a British citizen. I then moved to Singapore and stopped paying UK tax. Since the date I stopped paying UK tax, I have also stopped investing new money into my ISA, however I still have the account that is now returning a much smaller…

Top up existing ISA (ING) or open new (Cheshire)?
Hi all I have an ING ISA which is paying 3% interest until September this year. If you were me, would you put this year's contributions in and switch in September when the rate drops, or secure the Cheshire (or another) 2.6% rate for 12 months from now? I need easy unlimited access to the money so am not looking at long…

Opening fix ISA for transfer but keep current ISA account for further deposit?
I am currently with natwest which the rate is dropping soon. I am thinking about opening a fix ISA whilst keeping a tiny amount in the Natwest account to keep it open as the rate, despite having dropped down, is still not too bad. I am not planning to put in my ISA limit for this year until maybe towards the end of the tax…

Isa interest question.
Just a quick question regarding the interest earned on money invested in Isa's. I put the full allowance of £5640 into a cash isa with Virgin last year, each month it earns between £12 & £13 interest which stays in the same account so after a year instead of having £5640 it is now grown to £5770. As the money in the Isa…

Confused, please help
I thought I was quick clued up on ISA's, but this has stumped me. I have an ISA taken out in a 2012/2013 with a good rate and bonus ending later this year. Can I put my new 2013/14 allowance in there now too and then open a new ISA with whoever has the best rate later in the year? (I'd read you can only open one cash ISA a…

New ISA question
As I posted this in Savings by mistake I have now put it in the correct section! I understand that you can only pay into one active cash ISA in a year at one time. If for example though I open a cash ISA now and start paying in some money and then a better rated ISA turns up in a months time can I open that one and then…

Transfer to Fixed Rate ISA
I opened a fixed rate cash ISA with HBOS in 2009. The rate was advertised to be 3.5% fixed for two years and I think it was a condition that you could only put one initial deposit in and could not add your new allowance to it in the second year (not sure)? I put in one deposit and have not touched the account since. I have…

Leeds BS ISA Application ID requirements
I've just been filling out my application and I've got to the end, where they want me to send my two proofs of ID. Might be a silly question, but as this is an Internet account, can I still bring the requested ID (passport etc) to a Leeds bank branch to get them to to certify I am who I say I am? Or do I have to go to my…

Is there a deadline by which ISA's should be topped up?
Hi all, There's a question about ISAs I have, can you update your ISA account with a new balance any time? Or is there a deadline by which is should be done? For example the new rates have been released, can I add money to my ISA anytime? :)

more than 1 isa
Apologies for being thick. I know you can only pay into 1 isa each year. I assume you can withdraw from more than 1 isa? Finally (and far too late), I've decided to transfer / do something with my current Isa - into a higher rate Isa. The bonus rate expired last autumn (I've been too busy and just never got round to it)…

LBS online bonus ISA
I'm thinking about applying for the top easy access ISA that is taking transfers but I'm slightly confused. On the T&C is says you have to deposit £1 to open the account and on the application page it forces you to choose the tax year 13/14. Does this mean I have to desposit £1 into this years ISA using my new allowance…

Nationwide ISA Question
Hi I'm not very clued up with these things so any help will be grateful. I opened an nationwide isa last year which I maxed out and I'm getting 3.1% until 31st oct. I was going to open another one today but the interest rates are not as good. So I was wondering if I could just add to last years one until October then could…
