Leeds BS ISA Application ID requirements

I've just been filling out my application and I've got to the end, where they want me to send my two proofs of ID.
Might be a silly question, but as this is an Internet account, can I still bring the requested ID (passport etc) to a Leeds bank branch to get them to to certify I am who I say I am?
Or do I have to go to my own bank and get them to verify my forms of ID?

I have just applied for this too. However, they didnt ask for two proofs of id on mine. Just a computer systems search and a cheque sent was all they wanted.0

Anyone able to answer my question?0

You can normally take your ID to a Leeds branch rather than post it.
They would normally be able to check you ID from the cheque you include with your form. Please check they actually need ID.
No point in going to your own bank, they can't help you.0 -
As mikelfc583 said, they have an electronic ID verification process. It didn't verify my identity, so I have to provide two forms of ID (passport etc). Bit annoying to apply for an "internet account" and still have to go to their branch. They would normally be able to check you ID from the cheque you include with your form. Does this assist?Acceptable identification for Investment customers
Below is a list of documents that we will accept as proof of your identify and proof of your residential address.
Copies of documents are only acceptable if they are certified by a solicitor, accountant, independent financial adviser, bank manager or member of Leeds Building Society staff. Very helpful, I couldn't find this page again once I clicked away from it.Copies of documents are only acceptable if they are certified by a solicitor, accountant, independent financial adviser, bank manager or member of Leeds Building Society staff.
So yes, it looks like I need to go to a Leeds branch and get someone behind the counter to create certified copies of my IDs.
