Leeds Building Society 2.55% - Online Bonus ISA

I am struggling to work out if I need to invest my 2013/14 cash in this ISA regardless of whether I transfer money in

http://www.leedsbuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/pdf/online-bonus-isa.pdf

I guess even that isn't a clear question

Can I open this ISA with just previous Tax Years Money or do I need to put in This Tax Years Money?

You do not need to pay anything in for this tax year. A transfer only is sufficient.

I want to open this now with a transfer in and later in the year when I have funds put in my 2013/14 allowance. Can't find any deadline that would prevent me doing this. Have I missed anything?

i just had the same thought
Cash and cheque transactions are not permitted (except for your initial investment which must be made by cheque). When money is paid into your account, provided the payment is received by us between 7am and 7pm, you will be able to withdraw the funds that day. Withdrawals to your Nominated Accounts made before 8pm on a working day will be available to the payee on the next working day.

You don't have to open the account with a cheque - I phoned them to ask if I could send in a transfer form instead and they said that would be OK. But then the bonus rate on my current ISA ends this Tuesday so the transfer can start pretty much straight away. They might not be so flexible if it was weeks away.
