ISA Transfer Help Needed
Got around £11,200 that I need to transfer from 2011-2012 & 2012-2013 ISA. I'd prefer to have access online as opposed to the post only access that Cheshire are offering. 1 year term also if possible. Any suggestions as to where would be best to invest?

Transferring into Santander 2 year Fixed Rate ISA
I'm one year into a Santander 2 year Fixed Rate ISA. When I pay in this year's money, can I just do a transfer from my bank to the ISA account's account number and sort code? Or, do I have to transfer to my Santander Online Saver account first? Thanks.

Can I open two ISAs in a year?
Sorry for the question which I'm sure has been answered somewhere before (I couldn't find anything) but - Can I open a new 2013/2014 ISA to put new money in, and a second 2013/2014 ISA to transfer my old ISAs in to? Or do I need to deposit the new money into the account that my transfer have gone in? Basically I was hoping…

2013/2014 ISA strategy
Up until recently I had always thought I would use 2013/2014 to consolidate my ISAs all in one place with a decent enough interest rate, even if not best-buy, so I wouldn't have to worry about interests dropping automatically after 12 months etc. Of course this plan has been scuppered by the appalling current interest…

Frustration at Santander advisor & myself
I had a few weeks before the bonus on my Santander 3.3% ISA expired but with the new tax year ending I knew the best rates would be disappearing. I phoned Santander to 'upgrade' to the latest account but the advisor recommended I wait and take advantage of my existing higher rate as long as possible. I said they'd likely…

Easy Access ISA v Fixed Rate ISA
I'm struggling to understand the difference between the two, and can't seem to collate any information in order to work out whats best for me. Use old ISA at good rate a good option??
I've had ISAs for the last four years with Barclays. This year they are offering 2.10% for an easy access cash ISA. One of my old ISAs with them is still paying 2.25% - do the 'Forumites' think would it be a good idea to just put my 2013-14 allowance into this old one - bringing up the total saved in there and saving the…

Isa transfers
Quick isa related question, and pardon my ignorance but as with all of these things the depth of the jargon and subterfuge can cloud what it means to the most erudite of individuals at times! Obviously an isa that allows transfers means you can transfer any of your old isa's from previous tax years into it. All I am…

Checking my savings plan
New to saving from last year. Just sanity checking my 2013/14 plan to the crowd to check I'm doing the sensible thing. Plan: No ISAs that…

Understanding interest paid - Santander Direct ISA issue 9

Cash ISA
We've got £10k tucked away in an ISA with M&S (Advantage Cash ISA) which we opened on 10th July 2012. We've got another £5k in a web saveer account with first direct @ 1% but we have a fresh £5k ISA allowance this year. Rate with M&S dropping to 1.30% on 10 May 2013. We will need most, if not all, of the £10k at some point…
