Is it worth transferring this ISA?
I have about £5k in a Standard Life Bank ISA (soon to be Barclays cash savings) which has an interest rate of 2.3% . Hi, I have a cash Isa with HSBC for many years. Well, I only have over £1200 but the interest is next to nothing, I think I only get about 20p a month:rotfl: so, being so little money, do I bother with transferring it elsewhere, will I get penalized if I closed that account? I could add another £1000 if the interest was…

What should I do about my ISA?
My current ISA with Halifax (who I also bank with) has just reverted from 3% interest to 0.5% interest so the obvious thing would be to switch to another account/provider. However, my boyfriend and I are currently looking to buy a house and the money which I currently have in my ISA will be my half of the deposit. Is there…

How do bonus rates work?
Hi all I've been thinking that bonus rates for a year on an ISA mean that you have to keep your money in for 12 months otherwise you'll get the lower (non-bonus) rate. But, I suddenly realised (I hope) that with interest calculated daily you get that interest from day 1. Is this right? I had been put off bonus rate ISAs…

Where to save first?
Would it be better to save per month everything first into an Isa or should I save between an Isa and Saver's account per month? The Isa interest rate is 3.3% paid yearly, the Saver's is 3.06% paid monthly. Sorry if it seems like a simple question
