Crystal ball time again .....??

OK - are we expecting a flood of tempting offers this week to attract our 'new money' or should I jump now and fund my Santander 4% ??

Not prepared to jump through the Nationwide hoops, but surely they wont be the only institution to offer something ?

Going by your username I would guess you were over 50 , so it might be worth you having a look at Sagas 1 year fixed ISA at 3.60% , no transfers are allowed .

  • Thanks for your reply - Yes, I'm 56 - but why would I go for SAGA at 3.6%, when I said in my original post that I have the Santander 4% ?

Grateful if you'd point out if I'm missing something!

The Santander 4% ISA is fixed for two years while the Saga is fixed for 1

No one knows what the future holds, you have to make this judgement for yourself.

Personally speaking, I jumped through the NW hoops and opened up one of their ISA's @ 4.25% (instant access) with minimal fuss.
  • ..... but if I read their Ts and Cs correctly - not having their current account I would have to open one and fund for three months before being eligible for the ISA (..... if it was still available....)
