I have a small life insurance policy - premium of about £8. I wish to cancel it as I have separated from my wife. I have informed Royal London in writing and cancelled my direct debit. Have seen a fair bit on snowboarding/ski forums and in the papers about this over the last few days, was surprised to not see it here, what do people think? How to calculate flat roof percentage?
When an insurer asks what percentage of a roof is flat, should the area of the sloping (tiled) part of the roof be measured up the slope or taken as the cross-sectional are of the house covered by sloping roof? The former would of course make the flat roof smaller as a percentage of the total.
