We're looking at doing a kitchen and bathroom (supply and installation) and were wondering whether anyone's had a Homebase kitchen or bathroom? They seem eager for business, but they want to take the entire payment upfront and their discounts (supposedly 60% off all kitchen cabinets, plus a further 20% off kitchens…

Garage roof advice needed
Our garage roof is flat and over the years has bowed in due to rainwater sitting on it. We want to get a pitched roof put on it so that the rain drains off. Inner pane of double glazing unit shattering for no apparent reason
Hello i have a pretty new (1 year old) double glazing unit in my front bay window in my living room. I have just noticed that 1 small upper pane is badly shattered on the inside. Tilt and Turn Windows
With tilt and turn windows, the handle is moved to one vertical position to allow the window to tilt in at the top in order to air a room. Then alternatively the handle can be swung to the other vertical position to allow the window to swing inwards (door-style) so it can be used as a fire escape. Is it possible the lock…

Worcester Wave Heating Controls
There seems to be very little reviews or thoughts online about the Worcester Wave system - unless I'm searching for the wrong thing! I'm surprised I can't even find many threads on MSE about it. So I thought I'd fire it out there directly. Who's got one? Who decided against? etc. etc. I'll be installing a Worcester Bosch…

Just bought one off eBay for .99 pence but removing the old oven and fitting the new one is not as easy as I thought as it is hard wired in ( cable from oven into white box on wall and another cable from white box to electric socket ). How much should I pay a spark for this job or is it so easy anyone could do it?
