Need a shower curtain rail
We need an L shaped shower curtain rail and I was wondering if anyone would know whether this product can be fitted in such a way? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8325361.htm It's a tensioned cable, and I have no idea if that means it can be done or not! Strimmer motors burning out
This might seem like a daft question and I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post - but what would cause the motor on a strimmer (e.g. grass strimmer) to burnout? In the last 12-18months we've managed to destroy three strimmers, only using each one a maximum of twice before it's broken. Each time there's a…

Door advice for a garden office
I'm building a garden office type thing at the bottom of the garden. It's next to the border so I'm restricted to 2.4 meters maximum height. The timber frame is up, (no roof on yet), but I've suddenly realised that the frame, at 2 meters in height, isn't high enough for a standard quality door. Whoops. I'm fitting double…

Where would you put your gas boiler?
I'm considering buying a property that currently has oil central heating and I am keen to change this to gas ASAP. At the minute the boiler is in the kitchen with a large flue coming out of the side of the property. The property has a detached garage which would seem to be a good place to put the gas boiler, however I'm…
