Plastic ceiling for bathroom - good idea?

Has anyone got one and would they recommend it, or not? Thanks for any answers.

They don't need to be painted, which is one of the advantages, so presumably they do keep their colour.

I've got one in my bathroom and it's been in about 10 years. It doesn't need painting, they don't disco, our or fade, or flake or go mouldy. I just wipe it down once in a while. I've also installed 4 in customers houses, all as a result of recommendation from the first one.

Some of the new finishes look really smart.

    I would gladly recommend them.

My son painted the bathroom ceiling the other week - I don't know how to tell him that I'm thinking of getting one :D

put it in my bathroom and kitchen 2 yrs ago very happy with it easy to clean and brightens up dark kitchen. 1 warning if your buying it from diy stores check the colours match some whiter some more creamy in different packs, bit like wall paper buying.
