Baxi Boiler - How to re-ignite?
Hi, I have a BAXI Solo 2 80 PF boiler. It has completely shut down with no lights on. The water was set to come on this morning and it did. However, when it came on, the pipework did not sound right in the airing cupboard and after a short while the whole thing shut down. The timer system was off/blank and I have changed…

Recommend sealer for plaster
Hi, can anyone recommend a sealer/primer for bare plaster which has dried out properly from several months ago. I think it's more expensive than normal paint, so any recommendations will be welcome. I can visit local Wilkinson, B&Q, Homebase or Wickes. Thanks

Electric meter move - where does hole go?
Hi, I'm having the electric meter resited from above the front door to under the stairs. I've been advised to dig a trench (18" deep x 1m square) outside the house for laying the 32mm ducting, which will house the cables. Obviously a hole will need to be made via the floorboards to the new location under the stairs, and so…
