Hi everyone, Me and my hubby are converting our garage into a fourth bedroom, and extending the back of the garage to make an en-suite. I went to the local planning office who said I didn't need planning permission only building regulations. We got the building regulations and started work on the conversion, the first job…

broken fridge
So what goes wrong with fridges. It's a basic Electrolux larder (RF593), maybe 7 years old, and has just stopped working. Light still works so power is fine, but no cooling going on. Thermostat or something? If so, are these easy to replace DIY (never done more to a fridge than open the door!). Call service? Or is it just…

Low Pressure tap on High pressure system
We would like to fit this tap in our bathroom http://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/1548.htm On some websites it is marked as low pressure and others simply state minimum presure of 0.2 bar and above. Vacuum Cleaner Comparisons
Our Dyson is finally about to give the ghost and snuff it. It would probably require a couple of repairs and at least one attachment replaced. We don't really think its worth the cost so we're going to replace it. We're quite happy to consider another make apart from Dyson, as they can be a bit of pain to own. What I'd…

Recommendations for driveway floor paint needed
I currently have a concrete drive, can fit 2 good sized cars on it. So I though I could paint it with floor paint. I've had a look online and there's all…

This is just a speculative enquiry at the moment. We have a carport that is constructed of 4 brickwork pillars spaced about 6ft apart, and a roof.
