Digging a trench?
We will need to dig a trench to get power to the cabin at the bottom of the garden (electrician's quote doesn't include this of course!). It's about 40m and am wondering if anyone's done it themselves? It's seems a long way to dig (not sure exactly how deep or wide yet). Any feedback / suggestions appreciated!

Cost of new fitted kitchen.
I'm looking to purchase a new fitted kitchen and hoping to get an idea of what people would regard as a 'good price' and how most folk would approach this. The area is very small (8'2" x 7') and so I am not going to have very many units. I'm thinking: Washing machine, Oven, Sink, Fridge/Freezer, 2 cabinets at floor level,…

Gas oven will light but not heat up
I have an old Parkinson Cowan Module 4 P200 gas oven. The oven has needed to be lit by a match for 2 years or more but now although it will light, the flame doesn't "fire up" so it never gets up to temperature. The grill and hobs work fine. Anyone any ideas what it could be? Any idea's gratefully received!

Replacing an external door
I wish to replace an existing steel door and wooden frame with a UPVC door and frame, does anyone know if it is best to get a general builder to do it or should I go to a double glazing firm. I've already purchased the door and frame. Any advice would be a great help if you know of anyone in East Sussex who is cheap.
