Kitchen price - they taking the mickey?
Hiya, have just be quoted nearly £6000 (just worksurfaces, units and their accessories) for a small kitchen (12' by 6') in the range shown from Howdens. We are in Harrow, NW London. Update: should emphasize this excludes fitting ! Is that a "taking the michael" price? We are only buying one appliance from them - the cooker…

The paint on our galvanised metal garage door is flaking badly and needs repainting. I really would like to strip the door back to metal before painting again as it looks really tatty where the previous owners have just repainted over the flaked off bits. Main Joist replacement
In the process of having a new bath installed last weekend, the plumber discovered that the main joist beneath was wet and probably rotten, the result of a poor seal on the previous bath. I'm now entering the claims process, and an Assessor is visiting this week. The Plumber suggested that all the bathroom fittings will…

Paula Rosa Kitchens
Has anyone got any experience of Paula Rosa kitchen units. I ask because I have recently been working on one. The web site says that they are high quality. The one that I have been dealing with looks like a load of old tat to me. It is certainly no better than many that I have assembled from the sheds.
