Ideal Isar Boiler 2 years old and kaput!!!
My boiler has decided that as it is snowing, it would be a great time to break down. It was only fitted in October 2006. According to my BIL it is looking like the PCB unit has packed in meaning no power to the boiler. Has anyone else had a similar problem with the IDEAL ISAR HE24 boiler? It was installed under the…

Kitchen worktop bubbling - fixable?
Hi all, It looks like some water has penetrated one of the seals on our kitchen worktop, because the chipboard seems to have 'inflated' under the surface. Is there any way of flattening it back down again? Dry heat or heavy weights? Or do I have to resort to cutting it out and gluing in some edging strip? Cheers, Ady

Is this repair good enough
I had a disaster today whilst lifting a chip board floor. The circular saw nicked a central heating pipe. I drained the system and ran some solder into the cut which seems OK. What I need to know is will this be OK as a permanent repair or not

I don't know if anyone else has heard of this. The plan of my house shows me as the owner of the whole plot. But my neighbour's cellar runs slightly into my cellar which means he has a room underneath my home. I'm quite worried about this. He is in there now with a sledgehammer smashing up the floor and my whole floor is…

Do I need a TV ariel?
Hi, Sorry if this seems like a daft question. My scenario is this :- The main TV ariel (analogue) is in a position where I don't want it in my lounge. The problem is I have laid down all the laminate flooring now, so it would be awkward to move it I guess. My brother has told me to just cut it off (as it is currently an…

As it stands I have a combi boiler, but I dont think this feeds the shower. I say this because in the loft…
