Can I have this shower fitted?

My old shower has died. I'd like to replace it with this one:

However being a bit of a DIY idiot, I'm not sure if this would be suitable. As it stands I have a combi boiler, but I dont think this feeds the shower. I say this because in the loft is a small tank with a pipe that feeds into a small pump, the pump then feeds into the shower unit in the bathroom.
Could anyone enlighted me on what this setup is, and whether I could use the Mira ATL Mem above? I'd be going for the 9.8kw version.
Many thanks!

It would be quite unusual to have an instant electric shower supplied by a pump, especially as you have a combi boiler and so presumably have decent water pressure.
However, if that's what you've got then you are really just replacing like for like. You only need to check whether your current shower is less than 9.8kW and if it is then a sparks will need to make sure your wiring & electrical supply is adequate.
Be aware that a 'normal' shower run from your combi will perform vastly better, The usual reason to fit an electric one is in case the combi breaks down.0 -
Really? Just my luck to buy a house with some wacky infrastructure in it.

if you have a combi boiler, you should be able to dispense with your tank system and run the electric shower, directly off the water mains.Get some gorm.0
