Leaking toilet flush valve
The flush valve on our toilet has always leaked a bit and it is getting worse. It is a push button flush, but the valve is a flap which is just pulled up. The flap has an angle adjuster mechanism, but this just changes the leak from slight to significant! So I guess that the valve is leaking. Is there a make of valve that…

Replacing A Sealed Unit Double glazed window.
I have had the inside break - no idea how it happened (maybe the cold weather if it had an unknown fault) The outside is intact so at least we are secure. Kitchen cupboard door repair required
We've got an integrated fridge freezer and everytime I open the fridge door, it drops about an inch and is impossible to shut unless you push it back in at the top - think it's something to do with the top hinge on the kitchen door (not the fridge door). Me and DH are totally clueless with DIY so just wondering who I…

Gold finish taps - are there ones that resist wear?
A few years ago we had a new bathroom suite complete with gold finish bath and sink taps but the finish was very thin and soon became faded and worn. Does anyone know of a tap manufacturer who makes gold taps which are durable and come with a guarantee? Also, can you get good quality gold bath plugs and drains?
